At the Hispanic Service Center, our efforts are focused on actions and programs designed to provide access to information, assistance, resources, activities, and support to ALL Lapeer County residents.

In collaboration with Four County Community Foundation, the Hispanic Service Center has launched Imlay City Area Rides, a transportation program for residents without reliable access to a vehicle. Many riders face financial barriers that make it difficult to reach work, medical appointments, and essential services. Purchasing ride tickets helps ensure community members can get where they need to go. More information is available under our services tab.

Imlay City Hispanic Service Center connects Lapeer County residents to programs that may be able to provide assistance (many of which are income-based).  If the client needs an interpreter for his or her appointment and gives advance notice by following the procedure to schedule an interpreter, Imlay HSC may be able to send someone that can interpret for the client´s appointment.  This is not guaranteed and is based on scheduling and demand. 

Imlay HSC staff and volunteers provide information as well as help eligible clients fill out paperwork and/or register for programs that provide assistance.
